Your enquiry is a conversation about your next tattoo. This notice explains what happens to the details you share through this website.

Who handles your information?

Matt Pounder, trading as Dagzden, handles your tattoo enquiries at The Rams Den Tattoo, 59a Borough Road, Middlesbrough, TS1 3AA. For questions about your information, email dagzden@proton.me.

Your enquiry and reference images

The form collects your name, email, tattoo idea, placement and approximate size. You can also share your Instagram handle, preferred dates and reference images. The age and booking notice acknowledgement is included with your enquiry.

These details are used to respond, discuss designs and arrange appointments. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and fulfilling a booking if you make one. Records needed to deal with enquiries or disputes may also be kept on the basis of legitimate interests; records legally required are kept to meet those obligations.

Please only upload images you’re comfortable sharing and entitled to use. Avoid identity documents, private medical information or photos identifying someone else without their permission.

Services used by the website

Enquiries and attachments pass through FormSubmit and are delivered to Matt’s Proton inbox. FormSubmit’s documentation states that form submissions are archived for 30 days; uploaded files are excluded from that archive. Its spam check uses Google reCAPTCHA.

Cloudflare hosts the website and may process connection information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect it. The optional map connects to Google only when you choose “Load Google Maps”. External links take you to services with their own privacy practices. These providers may process information outside the UK; their policies explain their arrangements.

How long are details kept?

Enquiry details and references are kept for as long as needed to discuss your idea, arrange and manage a booking, and resolve related questions or disputes. Records required for legal obligations may need to be kept longer. You can contact Matt about deleting information that is no longer needed.

Cookies and marketing

This website does not include advertising trackers or a mailing-list signup. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. Google Maps and FormSubmit’s confirmation and spam-check pages may use cookies under their own policies.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact Matt using the email above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
